A project with a high level of ambition takes a number of people with great experience on its board. We are proud and happy to have a group of extremely competent and enthusiastic people involved in the leadership of Symphonic Fairytales. Given in alphabetical order, the members are:

• Torben Grøngaard, director of Odense City Museums

• Klaus Ib Jørgensen, president of Edition SAMFUNDET (also chairman of the board of Symphonic Fairytales)

• Bertel Krarup, president of the Carl Nielsen Academy and president of the Association of Baltic Academies of Music

• Amalie Malling, concert pianist, lecturer at The Royal Danish Academy of Music

• Johan de Mylius, prof. dr. phil, The Hans Christian Andersen Center, University of Southern Denmark - Odense University

• Søren-Ole Olsen, cand. jur., former Secretary General, Prime Minister's Office

• Torben Rechendorf, former minister

The project management initially also included now deceased:

• Tage Nielsen, composer, professor, former director of the The Royal Academy of Music and of the Danish Institute in Rome
